About Todd Wright

Singer-songwriter Todd Wright spent the early part of this century with his band GetawayCar who's song "Superstar" was the soundtrack for the 2003 Pontiac Vibe. As a guitarist and keyboardist, Todd has toured with Lucy Woodward and The Pat McGee band in the US, Japan and New Zealand. In addition to these artists Wright has worked as an occasional sideman for Adam Richman and Better Than Ezra. In 2006 Wright left the touring world to focus on writing and producing. He has written songs for Aaron Barnhart, Courage Call, Lucy Woodward, Chelsea Lee, Pat McGee, and Toby Lightman and Lisa Hordijk.  Wright’s crisp songwriting and pop recordings reflect modern rock sensibilities, with influences from the Beatles and Crowded House, and comparisons to David Gray, REM, and Tears for Fears.
